Don't risk carrying heavy artworks and exhibition items by hand. Redleg's
range of trolleys and dolleys are made to order in any size. Constructed
from steel and ply, the multi-function trolley is designed to convert
from a flat-bed dolley to an A-frame trolley or an objects movement trolley.
No tools are required.
Flat-bed trolley
Museum standard four wheel flat-bed trolley with a platform size of 900
W x 1200 L mm. It has a welded steel sub-frame with a ply anti-slip platform
and a separate carpet overlay, and tie rails for securing crates and other
large objects. The two fixed and two steerable pneumatic wheels (200mm
diameter) and braking system allow ease of movement. Rated at 200kg per
wheel, the trolley has a total capacity of 800 kg. A choice of other tyres
also available.
Removable push-handle
We have designed a detachable push-handle for safe and easy movement,
reducing the need for bending and enabling the trolley to be controlled
more easily whilst moving, loading and unloading.
A-frame attachment
The A-frame is approximately 1.2m high and constructed from strong lightweight
steel tube covered with high density foam. This frame is fabricated as
a unit and drops onto the flat-bed trolley and is held in place by a number
of pins. No tools are required.
T-bar attachment
We have also designed a T-bar height extension which attaches to the A-frame
enabling larger works that require height support, to be transported.
Objects box attachment
The objects box has an upper and lower shelf, fabricated as a lightweight
unit which drops into place on the flat-bed trolley, and is secured by
a number of pins. The top shelf has a hinged side which drops down enabling
total access to the shelf. The top and bottom shelves are lined with foam.
